We are trying to perform bulk operations on certain type of IP addresses, say Public IP Addresses. What is the best way to identify within D42, all the public IP addresses and update them with certain tags of our choice. 

This can be done very easily by the importing option on Device42.

I am listing here the steps need to be followed:
1- To select only public IPs, go to:
Network > IP Addresses

then from the filtering option (on the right-hand side) select Type > Static

2- Select all required IP addresses from the list, then from the drop-down action menu perform the export:

3- On the exported file because we need to add "tags" to IPs, add a column named tags
​​

insert all required values for each IP address under this column and save.

4- finally upload/import the file and all IP address will updated with the corresponding tags.
